The vaudeville stage has been extended over a usable orchestra pit to a depth of 38'. 3 above-stage electrics; front lighting by balcony trees. 65' fly tower - counterweight system replaced in 2006 - up to 8 available line sets. 2 chorus and 4 star dressing rooms below stage, including 2 restrooms w/showers.

Public areas consist of a street level lobby and a mezzanine lobby - concessions operated by contractor. Restrooms in mezzanine and 1st basement; 1 disabled-access uni-sex restroom at ground floor lobby.

895 seat orchestra with wheelchair accessible seating area in rear orchestra, house left; 8 transfer seats (swing-away arms) available throughout orchestra. 600 seat loge and balcony seating in 2nd floor mezzanine.

Events must conclude no later than 12am.

How To Book

Call business office (310) 548-2493 inquire as to date availability. If date(s) available, receive a booking info & application packet. Review the info & complete and return the 2-page application. WGT manager will draft a cost estimate & permit for use for your review. Submit 2 signed copies of the permit & required booking deposit to the bus. office, and start promoting your event!

Hours Of Operation Subject to availability - generally 8am to 12am, 7 days/week. Performance or tech/rehearsal day rent is for a max 12-hour day. Staff charges are straight time for the first 8 hours, time and 1/2 for the next 4 hours and double time for all hours over 12.
Rental Policy WGT is included on the National Register of Historic Places and is a historically significant, fragile 80+ year old space. Some proposed use(s) may not be considered appropriate, in the judgement of WGT or City of Los Angeles management. In such cases, WGT will do everything it can to help you find an alternative space.
Cancellation Policy Bookings may be canceled up to 30 calendar days before scheduled date for full refund of deposit. If canceled less than 30 calendar days in advance, a portion of the deposit is retained as liquidated damages.
